Qualifications:

– Graduate of any course related to Veterinary Medicine
– Licensed Veterinarian
– With experience at in-house vet in a Farm Operations or private clinic is an advantage
– WITHOUT EXPERIENCE but fresh license is welcome to apply
– Living in Imus or nearby areas
– Must be familiar or knowledgeable with the government regulatory requirement for farm operations
– Able to roam in our FARMS located in Trece, Indang, and Batangas (with Transpo allowance) and willing to STAY-IN at staff house.
– Can start ASAP

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Farm Vet)

1. Monitor overall herd health
2. Conduct post-mortem examinations
3. Collect tissue samples for diagnostic evaluation
4. Draw and process routine blood samples to monitor herd health and status of incoming animal
5. Train swine caretakers to identify herd health issues and how to properly communicate concerns to the production management team
6. Monitor overall vaccine use, assess techniques and evaluate the results of various products
7. Assure proper vaccination records are available, understood and completed correctly
8. Train department supervisors caretakers on the appropriate storage, preparation, mixing and dilution techniques for vaccines
9. Reinforce and implement biosecurity protocol
10. Evaluate overall ventilation system management in relationship to overall herd health and well-being
11. Evaluate overall feed and water system management in relationship to overall herd health and well-being
12. Observe overall herd health and communicate to the Veterinary Health Consultant regarding herd health status
